| Well, Raminator/MLST is actually my son's but since I do all the mods and repairs I'm including it. We have long winters here in Canada so it gets a lot of use outside, even in the snow. I've taken the speed control and receiver apart and given them both the waterproofing treatment with some conformal coating. The stock motor lasted all winter but finally packed it in this spring, so we upgraded to a single Insane. As you can guess the stock plug melted, so I upgraded to Deans and replaced the stock wires on the speed control with 16 guage. The stock servos bought the farm too, so I modded them with metal gears. Check out my tutorial here. I've had no trouble with the diffs yet, but I tried boiling them anyway. Couldn't hurt.  Here's the speed control with the new wires. You have to file the plastic case slightly to accommodate for the thicker wire with heat shrink. With the new wire we really noticed a marked increase in performance.

What would you like to see? The speed control? I could write one for that. Its really not modded that much. Mostly the steering servos. Thanks for looking |
